Yellowstone Geological Services incorporates best practices for Environmental, Social and Governance in all projects and operations.  YGS recognized the importance of incorporating a formal community relations program in order to be successful with mineral exploration and mining long ago.   

YGS follows the guidelines prepared by the World Bank/Internationals Finance Corporation which are known as Performance Standards for Sustainability.  YGS staff pioneered the application of Performance Standards in junior exploration companies in 2005, working in Haiti with Eurasian Minerals and later in 2009 in Peru with Estrella Gold.  Laskowski joined the IFC in 2011, recognizing the importance of understanding and applying the Performance Standards.
